I held my first live get-together here on Substack last week. There was a vote over on chat on what the topic should be; motherhood actually tied with creativity, but I went with the former as it has been on my mind alot lately. It was honestly a real relief to be able to share, openly and frankly, with a group of you, some of the hard stuff of being a mum.
I loved being able to actually discuss, and see and hear from you in real time, so more of these on line meet-ups for paid subscribers are in the planning! Please leave a comment below to let me know a theme you’d like to discuss (grief, creativity, writing, possibly midlife?) and I will try and get through them all.
The time went incredibly fast and I certainly left feeling a bit better about some of the things that had been stressing my out about motherhood last week, so thank you to everyone who joined - I loved it.
